Zayne

This little man is so darn cute!! Here are some moments caught on camera over the last month or so. He recently decided that he loves the camera! "CHEESE!" He says really loudly when he wants me to take his picture and then wants to look at it immediately afterwards :)

Waiting for Evie one day after school :) it's funny that Zayne gets compliments on his hair - people are always saying he much they like his spikey hair. My sister said that when I took Evie to the bathroom the other day at the store, somebody commented on Zayne's hair to her - "he is a stylin' dude!" Hahha! Our hair is magnet for conversation ;)

He loves his older boy cousins. He plays with them every Sunday - lots of boy stuff, like pretend shooting, sword fighting, wrestling attempts, and basically anything that is loud ;) I guess he needs a little brother ;)

One Sunday we went out to Owen's brother's house and his older cousin, Max, that was visiting from out of town, was pushing him on the swing. At one point Max was pretending to be kicked by Zayne every time he swung toward him. Apparently Zayne loved it :) 

What little boy is lucky enough to have a daddy that sells giant machinery?! Zayne is! These aren't actually tractors that Owen has sold, but are his dad's. Zayne loved climbing up and pretending to drive - this one he actually did drive a little bit, with the help of daddy.

 

Evie likes the tractors, too, but not quite as much as Zayne :)

They both love animals - that's for sure!

He also loves the four wheeler. He accidentally gunned the gas and almost ran over Evie. She wasn't originally too fond of the four wheeler, and now she REALLY isn't! I don't blame her, though, I think they are kind of dangerous myself.....

So a picture with just the boys is fitting ;)

We have been working on potty training with Zayne. He has the cutest bum ;) he's been doing fairly decent - he goes in public restrooms if I sit him on the potty - something Evie would NEVER have done at this age. He's coming along!

We went to the Zoo one day while Felicity was out of school for a teacher in service. Evie didn't know about our trip to the zoo because she had school. Don't ask, don't tell ;)

It was a BEAUTIFUL day! I'm drinking up every last day of warmth and sunshine before the cold hits :(

And sometimes he wants to be like the girls ;) headband and all!

He makes a pretty cute princess ;) 

At the end of the day the poor guy is tuckered out!

 Why are sleeping children SO cute?! Is because mom can finally get a rest?!

Zayne has been doing so well with his speech! He is finally starting to put two words together and SOMETIMES he will say very short sentences. I am so happy about his progress! We have been praying so hard for him to start talking better. His speech therapist is amazing!! This little guy is so full of energy :) we love him so much! Thank goodness Heavenly Father sent him to our family :)
