Update!

So I finally got pictures from my baby shower. I know that was FOREVER ago, or so it feels like it! My sister and I had a double baby shower it was fun! I can't believe how big I was! Yuck!
The end of July or beginning of August, somewhere in there we had a mini reunion with old some old friends from high school! We met at the Flat Bread restaraunt in Meridan and it was good! It was so nice to get together and talk about old times and catch up with each other!
This was one of Evie's first cereal feedings back in July! It took me forever to finally post it! She loves solid food! and as you can see she loves her foot too! We are in the process of getting a high chair! It can get pretty messy at times!

So much has happened since my last post! Evie is now 6 months old! She had her doctors appointment Tuesday and all is well! She weighs 15.8 lbs which puts her in the 50th percentile for both weight and height! She is growing so fast and is at such a fun little age. She is rolling over, finally and is such a joy have! At the end of August Owen was let go from his job due to the poor economy. It's only been a few weeks, but it feels like it has been months! The day or so before it happened we had a feeling it might be coming and I called my mom to talk to her and my dad answered the phone. I talked to him briefly about it and told him we were afraid they might be letting Owen go and my dad said: "you pay your tithing there is no need to live in fear." What wonderful words of wisdom! I know that Heavenly Father will bless us with the things we need! We have tried to look at the positive in the situation: he was out of town all of the time, literally Monday through Friday every week. He will now be looking forward to a career that will allow him to be home with our family every night! He now has some good work experience which compliments his resume very nicely! He is looking for something in the agricultural industry so if anyone reading this knows of or hears of anything let us know!
