We have been trying to make the best of living in this single wide trailer. lol! Zayne wanted to put all of his hot wheels cars around the tub one night. He is always coming up with crazy ideas!
I watched my sisters kids while her and her husband and their oldest son went on a big hike in the grand canyon. It was nice to stay the night in a normal and larger home!! And the kids had fun playing because none of them had school that Friday!
Neither of these kids are mine, but I thought this was a cute picture of grandma with her grandsons!
We decided to go to the farmstead before it got too cold out. Couldn't resist a selfie in the car on the way there!
I love our cute kiddos!!!
They insisted on doing a silly one each and on their own!
We met up with my sisters and their families!
Owen couldn't understand the reasoning behind people actually paying money to go and pretend to be on a farm. lol! Must be the farmer in him ;)
My cute, little man!
The kids LOVED the little zip line they had!
Potato sack slide race!
And of course the little train ride...
The kids LOVED the corn box! They always do!!
It took Colton quite a while to warm up to it, but once he did he had fun!
It got pretty chilly once the sun went down.....but we managed to get some cute pictures!
We went on the last hay ride of the night!
Zayne refused to smile in the picture with me! Little stinker!
Idaho's LARGEST pumpkin!!
I love this little family of ours!!
Owen requested his favorite Georgia Mud Fudge cake for his birthday! The guy turned 36 this year!
We didn't do anything too exciting. His birthday was on a Wed. and we opted to go out that Friday night because my sister offered to watch our kids since I watched hers while they were gone. We tried a BBQ place in Eagle that my sister had recommended. It was pretty good!
Sometimes when I look at this guy it makes me sad to see him growing up right before my eyes. Zayne's parent teacher conference went really well. She said he is so sweet, and manerly and a really good listener. Her only concern was that he was SO quiet and shy. She said she calls on him in class to try and get him to feel comfortable talking. My sweet little man. He is just like his daddy. very shy. I'm confident he will grow out of it a little bit. He is mastering his sight words and I think he will pick up on reading pretty quickly. I'm really proud of how far he has already come this year!!
Some selfies before church.....obviously, I'm not the greatest at them!!
Oh, Colton! being his usual stinker self. lol!
picture taking quickly turned into superhero mask fighting!!
Colton and Zayne can play SO well together, but they can also fight like crazy. Colton threw a duplo at Zayne and it must have hit him JUST right because it totally drew blood! Poor little guy!
Evie LOVES to read! We had parent teacher conferences the end of October and her teacher said "let me begin by saying Evie is an ABSOLUTE joy to have in class!" no surprise there!! Anyway, she said Evie is above reading level for her grade. She currently reads 157 wpm and when they leave 3rd grade they want them to be at 110 wpm. I took this picture of her because I think her little profile is so darn cute!
We were impatiently waiting for our lot to get dug....
October 18, they finally broke ground! We were more than just a little bit excited!!
Of course we had to take pictures!!!
It was a beautiful sunset that night!
I'm a sucker for sunsets and sunrises!!
Things started moving pretty quickly after that. They got the foundation ready not too many days after they excavated the lot!!
A month or so after the daddy daughter princess dance, we got this in an email! Made me want to go back to Disneyland! It is kind of a cheesy picture, but Evie absolutely loved it!!
