More updates!

Here are some recent pictures of the kiddos lately....

The kids have lots of fun playing with their cousins. Cute little Isacc is my sisters little guy!! Him and our little guy will be 4 months apart :)

The beginning of May brought the kids first dentist appointment. They did awesome!! I was really surprised that they did so well! There was a little boy in there, probably close to Evie's age, that was screaming at the top of his lungs - it probably lasted 10 minutes or so. It actually made me giggle. My kids just kept staring at him....I'm just glad it didn't scare them! Neither of them had cavities!

Zayne had been up insanely early that day and fell asleep in the car on the ride home. The dentist tuckered him out :)

The kids have been pretty obsessed with brushing and flossing ever since ;)

I just love this kids smile :)

And this girls attitude :)

They are the most beautiful children I have ever seen - no prejudice here, right?!

Evie's curls are so beautiful!!

Sometimes these two play together so well :)

This week we were able to go check out the granite we picked out for our kitchen!!

And here it is, almost all the way installed. They have a little more to do - but so far, I'm in love wit this kitchen!! I can't wait to see it all finished!

A few more belly pics :)

32 weeks:

33 weeks:

34 weeks:

I am 34.5 weeks along! I had an appointment today and was somewhat happy to find out that I have only gained 32 lbs so far. For some reason I thought I had gained more than that by now! I started taking an iron pill after my last appointment because I was slightly anemic. Things made sense after that...it would explain why I had felt so incredibly exhausted. I've scaled back on my workouts because I just don't have as much energy as I used to. After I would finish my exercise routine, I would come home and just want to take a nap! Anyway, he is head down and the doctor predicts I go around the 2 week early mark. We shall see :) if that is the case I would have just under a month left!! I can totally do this!! Home stretch - woo!!

House update!

They are coming along so quickly on our house! It is very exciting to see the progress being made :)

These next few pictures were taken the very first day of May....

The splotches all over the walls is the texturing...

Then these pictures were taken one week later!! The interior had been painted and most of the trim was up!

The above picture is our master closet.

The above picture is the kitchen and part of the family/ great room...
The picture below is the other part of the family/great room.

The next few pictures were taken a little less than a week after the last ones!! Cabinets were installed!

The above picture is the front door and to the side there is a den - which we will be using as a play room for a while. It can be a bedroom eventually if we end up needing it.

I'm loving the white cabinets!! I can't wait to see it when it is all put together and finished!

Of course, the kitchen :) the above door to the left is a nice sized walk in pantry.

This is the master bathroom. It's not huge by any means, but it's got two sinks, so I'll take it ;)

Here is the exterior- painted and ready for the rock to be placed in the front...

The final walk through is still tentatively scheduled for June 15. I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen a little bit before that, but who knows! It will be so weird to have our own space again - I don't know what we will do!!

Many Birthday Celebrations!

Zayne turned 3 on May 7!!! I can't believe he is so big!! He had 3 birthday celebrations: one with my family, one with Owen's family, and one on his actual birthday :) it was a whole week of birthday fun!

The Sunday before his birthday, we celebrated with my side of the family. He got some pretty fun toys - a big hulk action figure, a little people truck, and a bubble gun :) he has thoroughly enjoyed playing with all of the toys he got!
And at his request we made blue cupcakes - but they kind of turned out blue/green, but he was happy!

On his actual birthday morning he woke up bright and early at 7:30. He usually sleeps until 9:30 or so, so that was a long day!! He was so excited!! I let him open one present from mommy and daddy first thing.

Two new shirts; an avengers shirt and a Mickey Mouse shirt! He chose to wear the Avengers one :)

Then I decided to let him open Evie's present for him.

It came in very handy because it was a really rainy day!!

He had his well child check up on his birthday. He didn't need any shots - which was part of the reason I scheduled it that day!! He is in the 50th % for both weight and height - he is perfect!!

One thing Zayne is into is The Hulk!! I got a smaller hulk action figure and put it on top of his cake :)

He got even more fun toys!!!

We saved the biggest present for the end.....

Spider-Man scooter!!! Thank you, Craigslist!! $5 for a practically brand new scooter? Yes, please!!

And he loved it!!

Thank you, Evie, for the photo ops! She actually did pretty good!

The day after his birthday was beautiful and he had lots of fun riding his scooter around!

Daddy came home that next Saturday with a fun surprise:

A John Deere baseball hat!! Now he can match daddy :)

On Mother's Day we went out to Owen's parents for the afternoon and celebrated both occasions. He received a few more very fun gifts :)

Zayne shares his birthday with his older cousin, Chase. Chase turned 11 this year!

Cute boys!

Zayne has fun riding around on daddy's new four wheeler and was sad when he had to get off!

Grandpa Johnston got a pair of sunglasses like Zayne so he could be cool ;)

We love you, Zayne!! You are such a spunky little man. You are starting to speak in more sentences and getting close to being potty trained!! You are 100% boy and love anything loud, that drives, or that smashes! Your favorite thing to say right now is "HULK SMASH" you love school busses, dump trucks, and garbage trucks, just to name a few. You also love nursery and saying "HI" to people passing by. You also love Grandpa and Grandma very much!! I think you will miss them quite a bit when we move out. You love yogurt, Mac n cheese, grilled Cheese, chicken nuggets, broccoli, cucumbers, carrots, cooked squash, corn, peas, beets, green beans and re fried beans a lot!!! You aren't too picky with your food, but you sure do love mommy when it come to people. We love having you in our family and can't wait to see what your future brings :)
