I can't believe she's 3!

It feels like just yesterday, we brought you home from the hospital. It's hard to believe that it has really been 3 years! Evie, you are sweetest little girl that has ever lived! Every where you go, you get compliments on how beautiful you are. Everyone loves your blonde, curly hair! You are so grateful for everything and you always saying "thank you." You are my little side kick and do everything with me. You love your daddy just as much and love playing with him at night :) You can say your very own prayers. You always thank Heavenly Father for the day and then ask to bless mommy, daddy, Evie and baby Zayne. Then you ask to help us be happy. The sweetest, most sincere prayer ever :) Some of your favorite things right now are:

*Minnie Mouse
*Church and Nursery
*You love reading scriptures with mommy and daddy and you always want to say the prayer :)
*Going to the park and saying "hi" to mommy before going down the slide - over and over again!
*You love all foods especially strawberries, ice cream cones, broccoli, carrots, mac 'n cheese, steak, chicken, apples, string cheese, cottage cheese and cheese in general!
*If you could pick any candy in the world you would choose a sucker! You love them :)
*You LOVE puzzles and playing Memory with mommy and daddy.
*You love to hide under your blankie and are always trying to get mommy and daddy to hide with you.
*You love to fall asleep with mommy next to you and for the most part you sleep through the night in your toddler bed that you love!
* You love watching shows (Dora, Bubble Guppies and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse)
* You love reading books
* You love balloons!
* You love to jump rope...or try to :)
* You love skirts and anything pink!

Your daddy and I feel so blessed to have you in our family! I never knew I could love as much as I do, until you came along. It makes me sad to think you are growing up so fast! You are one special little girl and we love you more than anything in the whole world!

These pictures are in no particular order - just a collection of some of my favorite pics of our little princess! Enjoy :)

Playing hard :)

March has brought us lots of play time!! The beginning of the month we watched a little boy in our ward for a couple hours. He is 2 days older than Evie and they had a BLAST playing together! I guess she is getting to the age where play dates make more sense....since they are more interesting in playing with other kids at this age :) He was such a sweet little guy! So polite and funny :)
They had fun eating popcorn :)

And playing dress up :)

They both had to have their back packs on for a majority of the time (funny how 3 year olds are all the same!)

They played games :)

And we went to the park :) At one point they were running around the play ground and I hear him say "wait for me, Princess Evie!" Probably the cutest thing I have ever heard :) It was a fun couple of hours!!

March has also brought us some very nice weather. We have been to the park lots this month! Evie loves to run and run and make new friends while we are there! She loves the slide, too :)

One of the days we went she just had to have her big bird back pack on! So cute :)

Silly girl :)

Yesterday we went to Spokane for the day. We went to the River Front Park and rode the Carousel. Evie LOVED it!! The picture above is her with her ticket. She has an obsession with "tickets" lately. She has some Valentines Day cards floating around the house that she likes to use as tickets :) So this was pretty fun for her!

Daddy and Evie

Mommy's turn :) I'm getting bigger.....oh, boy! I can't believe I still have 2 months to go! I also can't believe that our little Evie will be 3 tomorrow!!!!

Quick trip :)

We made a quick and last minute weekend trip to Boise a couple weekends ago. By last minute, I mean we decided on Wed. to leave Friday morning. Owen had a meeting he couldn't miss early Friday morning , as soon as that was over we hit the road! We arrived in Boise with enough time to eat and then hit Monkey Bizness with Evie's cousins.
They had a blast...running, jumping and playing :)

Felicity, Evie and Lilly....we were missing Ruby :(

Ok. So this slide doesn't look that big in this picture, but it was really tall! I couldn't physically help Evie up to the top, so my sister in-law, Beth did....thanks a million! Evie didn't like it that much. She went down once and that was it!

That's me at the very top, ready to go down. It was a fun slide! I went a couple of times :)

Evie loves reading. Here she is with Grandpa Ogden and Cousin Ernie reading a Disney story book :) Wish we lived closer so we could take advantage of cousin babysitting!

Evie with Cousin Reagan, Lilly and Felicity...still missing Ruby :(

Good bye hug! The next morning we headed to Adrian, OR to spend time with Owen's family!

Evie with Grandma Ogden and Cousin Felicity.

Evie with her cousin's Keegan and Macey. We were able to catch Owen's sister for a few minutes before they left his parents house for Declo, ID :)

Grandma Johnston had made cake balls and the kids had fun dipping them, sprinkling them, and of course, eating them :)

Evie LOVES suckers. If she could choose any candy, a sucker would win, hands down :)

Another fun part of Grandma and Grandpa Johnston's house is the measuring. Evie loves to get measured...she already grew from the last time they did it, just a few months ago!

Evie and Keegan playing :)

Have I ever mentioned Evie loves puzzles? I think I have :) She absolutely LOVES them! Grandma Johnston was so impressed at how well she did with this one. I think she is so good at them because she has patience, like Owen. She rarely gets frustrated. She will work and work with a piece until she finds where it goes or until it fits right. We have puzzles at the gym and because I can't bend down and help the kids with them, I ask Evie to help them - and she loves to help :) I got her a big princess floor puzzle for her birthday coming up. I predict it will be a big hit!

We had such a fun time visiting family! I want to make one more trip down before baby Zayne is born....we will see if we can fit it in! I went 10 days early with Miss Evie, so I'm hoping I will go early with this one!
