Owen in front of the New York, New York Hotel. He went on the roller coaster in the hotel.
Me in front of the MGM hotel.
These were the lions in the MGM hotel.
Owen and myself inside the Luxor hotel.
Some of the beautiful scenery in Southern Utah and Nevada.Owen had a sales meeting down in Las Vegas, Nevada this last week and his work paid for me to go along! We drove to Provo, Utah last Sunday. Stayed the night and then drove the rest of the way Monday. We arrived at about 3:00 and checked into our hotel. We stayed at the South Point Hotel and Casino. It isn't right on the strip but it is a little ways down. Anyway, the National Rodeo was going on while we were there and apparently the hotel we stayed in was the same hotel all of the cowboys stay in. Other than having to walk all the way through the WHOLE casino to get to our hotel, we had a very nice room! We walked the strip on Tuesday. We started out at the Luxor hotel where we went to The Body Exhibit. They have all of these bodies that people have donated to science and they somehow preserve their bodies and you can see all of their muscles and bones and organs. There was a part with fetuses which was really cool to be able to see! Then we went to the MGM and saw the lions and Owen went on the Roller Coaster that is in the New York, New York hotel. Tuesday night the sales meeting went to this awesome prime rib place called Lowery's. It was really great food! Wed. morning Owen gave his presentation and we headed back home!! We weren't too sad to say goodbye to Las Vegas. Owen and I aren't into gambling, smoking, drinking or pornography and we didn't have tons of extra money to go to any of the $100.00 shows so needless to say we probably won't be heading back there again on our own time! But we did have fun walking around and seeing a place neither of us had ever been before!

That looks like so much fun! We went to Vegas in October and we stayed at South Pointe, too! Don't you love the bath and body works stuff they had? It was annoying that you had to walk through the casino but I really liked it and would stay there again.
